GEISELER MOVED TO TRENTON

The Blues have moved defenceman Ryan Geiseler to the Trenton Golden Hawks this past week.  Geiseler has been with the team two year, serving this year as an Asst Captain.

"Ryan was a great player and young man to have represent us" commented GM Darrell Mussell.  " It's obviously been a tough year and he wanted a change of scenery....Trenton made an offer we just couldnt refuse"

Geiselers' move comes on the heels of Andrew Ciamapchini and earlier Dustin Scott. 

" We have to be realistic about where we are in the standings and look at ways to improve.  We have an obligation to the players coming back next year to be better....much much better than this...and if we can start that process now, we will"

" These moves bring us guaranteed future players, with the options on the players going out.  We will have four to six top line players coming back out of this for next season.....it ensures us that next years team will be significantly better and it gives our younger players an opportunity for more ice.....if we were in a competitve position a lot of young players would find themselves sitting the rest of the season."
